 it is the current year and time in new orleans, louisiana. after the government established that vampires are real and a part of society, a synthetic blood beverage called trublood was created in order to appease vampires to stop feeding on innocent humans. nevertheless, most vampires believe the government's involvement in vampire business is futile, especially since each state has their own vampire head that all vampires must be submissive to, it's the code. it's no different in louisiana where in it's biggest city new orleans plays host to the vampire king of lousiana and his court and elders, the most high status vampires in all of the state. however, not everything is peaceful and quiet in the big easy, in fact, there is a lot of current unrest. the predecessor of the current vampire king of louisiana as well as his ruthless court were kicked out of their high-standing positions by the current vampire king in a sweeping, bloody coup d'etat. the result forced the banished vampire king and his followers to take refuge in baton rouge. after half a century of being "second-rate royalty", the banished vampire king and his court of baton rouge are now plotting their revenge and it's only a matter of time before louisiana becomes a battleground for bloody vampire politics. so, what side are you on?

all holds last til first adds (though the mod will do an inactive holds clearing around a day or so close to adds). when placing a hold, please comment with your pb and role (court position or elder). make sure the pb matches with the story you have in mind for your character. if you pick alex pettyfer to play an elder, make sure you rationalize how he turned into a vampire at such a young age. we want diversity so we will be moderating the overuse of youthful pbs. just for preference sake, we will only take holds on the vampire kings and queens if their pb is older than the age of 30. also, for our own sanity, we will not be accepting scene/original pbs (this includes myspace and alt models). thank you!no holds yet. a bolded * next to a pb and role means they are currently pending, holds last for til first adds. a bolded c next to a pb and role means it's a challenge. please make a new comment when making adjustments to your hold. we will not be accepting anonymous holds.

the vampire king, the vampire queen, the vampire princess, the vampire prince, the vampire duke, the vampire duchess, the vampire count, the vampire countess, the vampire marquis, the vampire marchioness, the vampire baron, the vampire baroness.

the banished vampire court of baton rouge
the banished vampire king, the banished vampire queen, the banished vampire prince, the banished vampire duke, the banished vampire duchess, the banished vampire count, the banished vampire countess, the banished vampire baroness.
BANISHED VAMPIRE ELDERS (0/4), female. (0/4), male.the only preset companionship within the court and banished court is the king and queen of louisiana. elders are more like the connection between the regular vampires and the court. they are usually who the vampire sheriffs go to when there is a problem. however, if it is bigger than even them, then the court deals with the problem. all elders are 130 years or older and the cutoff is close to 300 years. the court spans from 300 years to older. all of these vampires have unmatched strength, agility, speed, healing and glamour abilities. the only way they can die is by decapitation or being exposed to sunlight for a substantial amount of time. note there were casualties on the banished court's end - the banished vampire princess, marquis, marchioness and baron all perished during the coup as well as some of their faithful elders.
